Programme 2009

Autumn Season 2009

Do you enjoy Gilbert & Sullivan? Do you like singing?

Burgate Singers’ Winter concert on Saturday December 5th 2009 at 7.30pm in the Cornhall, Diss will be Gilbert & Sullivan’s Patience.
Gilbert and Sullivan’s hugely popular work will be followed – almost certainly as never before - by a performance of Handel’s much loved Hallelujah Chorus,
as part of  the BBC's Sing Hallelujah project.

Burgate Singers meet again in Burgate Village Hall, after their Summer break, on Sunday September 20th 2009 at 4pm.

If you enjoy singing and would like to take part in the concert, do come along and join us. There are no auditions – all you need is a love of singing and a desire to perform some of the loveliest music ever written. Burgate Singers, with its dynamic conductor, Alain Judd, has performed a wide range of music from Messiah to Carmina Burana with a great deal of hard work and even more enjoyment.

All voices welcome – especially tenors and basses. Why not give it a try?
