Claudio Monteverdi - Christmas Vespers

Igor Stravinsky - Symphony of Psalms

 Honegger - Christmas Cantata

After the great success of their April Concert in Burgate Church -  J. S. Bach’s Mass in B minor – the Burgate Singers will be back at the Corn Hall on December 4th 2010  with Monteverdi’s Christmas Vespers and Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms as the centrepiece of an exhilarating and varied concert, including the Honegger Christmas Cantata.

From September 19th, the choir will be rehearsing every Sunday from 4-7pm in Burgate Village Hall.
If you enjoy singing and would like to take part in the concert, do come along and join us. There are no auditions – all you need is a love of singing and a desire to perform some of the loveliest music ever written. Burgate Singers, with our dynamic conductor, Alain Judd, have performed a wide range of music from Messiah to Carmina Burana with a great deal of hard work and even more enjoyment. All voices welcome – especially tenors and basses. Why not give it a try?
